Match of the round:This has it all. Personal duels, history, emotion. And it could define the Waratahs' season. A win and they may have a home semi-final. A loss and they could miss the finals. Then again, if NSW can't beat the Reds they don't deserve to be in the finals.
Reds v Waratahs.
Best New Zealand game:This result will determine whether the Waratahs are still a chance of hosting a semi-final at the Sydney Football Stadium or if they may be heading next week to a semi-final in Wellington. It is all so mind-boggling. Alcoholic drinks will help.
Blues v Hurricanes.
Best South African game: Sharks v Chiefs. The Sharks are one of six teams playing for a finals spot and, with the Chiefs losing their way in recent weeks, think they are a good chance of sneaking in.
Player to watch: Timana Tahu. That's if he is in the NSW starting XV. As the Waratahs yesterday played ducks and drakes, at least we know he is in the 23-man squad.
Match to forget:Try to decipher the 2008 Budget papers instead.
Cheetahs v Bulls.
Certainties: Crusaders.
Best chance of a boilover:
The Chiefs are outsiders in Durban but they can't keep playing badly forever. It is worth taking the 7½ points start on offer at certain betting shops.
Best bet:
The Hurricanes at $2.10 to beat the Blues with sportsbook.com.au.
