Italy centre Mirco Bergamasco has been cited for an alleged trip on Scotland flyhalf Dan Parks, World Cup organisers said today.

The alleged offence occurred during Italy's 18-16 defeat by Scotland in St Etienne on Saturday that eliminated the Italians in the pool matches.

The player and Italy's team management have been informed and a hearing will be held in Paris.

Georgia wing Otar Eloshvili has also been cited for an alleged dangerous tackle on France flanker Remy Martin during the French team's 64-7 victory in Marseille on Sunday.
