Sydney University remain undefeated in the Shute Shield after beating Northern Suburbs 17-15 at the Sydney Football Stadium on Saturday.

The Students overcame a 10-point deficit midway through the second half to keep their perfect record intact. Laurie Weeks scored two tries for University.

At Concord Oval, West Harbour were never headed, beating Manly 38-24 for their third win of the season.

Captain Ben Martin scored 18 points in the Pirates' win and, despite three second-half tries, the Marlins could not get within striking distance.

Warringah scored the only points of the second half to inflict Eastern Suburbs' first defeat of the season, winning 19-12 at Woollahra Oval.

Ratu Nasiganiyavi scored a hat-trick against Penrith to consolidate his position as the competition's leading tryscorer, with eight tries from four games. Sekope Kepu also scored three tries as Randwick crushed Penrith 62-19.

In other games, Gordon thrashed Eastwood 52-8 and Parramatta beat Southern Districts 22-19 for their first win of the season.
