Former New Zealand hooker Tom Willis will leave the Waikato Chiefs and join Welsh side Newport Gwent Dragons after the Super 14 rugby season, the Waikato Times evening newspaper reported today.
Willis, 29, who played five Tests for the All Blacks in 2002, becomes the latest in a long line of players to leave New Zealand rugby since last year's World Cup.
Auckland Blues utility back Isa Nacewa said earlier this week that he was joining Irish side Leinster, while Jerry Collins, Daniel Carter and Troy Flavell are also being linked with moves abroad.
All Blacks Doug Howlett, Byron Kelleher, Anton Oliver and Carl Hayman are already with northern hemisphere clubs.
